Diwali Celebration

Diwali is one of India's most celebrated holidays. This 'festival of lights' is usually held between mid-October to mid-November, and usually spans over 5 days.

With a considerable part of the team being comprised of Indians, the TechM Team hosted a lunch last Friday 16 November, with a spectacular spread of Indian food, drinks and sweets. Some even came wearing their traditional outfits. It was a sight to see, and everyone was quite happy and left with very satisfied tummies!

The menu was composed of chickpea curry, idli (steamed rice cakes) with sambar, roti (wholemeal flatbread) and aloo parathas (wholemeal flatbread stuffed with potatoes), lassi (buttermilk), salad and a wonderful dessert called Kheer, made of rice, milk, nuts and dried fruit, which was eventually voted as the best dish. With a menu like this, we are very happy to celebrate Diwali every Friday!
